 R3M 1½bhp Single Cylinder

The Stuart Turner R3 1.5hp marine engine was designed as a simple 2-stroke petrol engine to power gentlemen’s launches as well as being used in other applications such as lighting plants and pumping sets.

More than 80% were used in marine applications with both a reverse gearbox and centrifugal clutched version being available.

There are many Stuart Turner engines still being used today by private customers and many councils, on children’s boating lakes, on rivers as well as small day boats and as auxiliary power for sailing yachts.

 P5 and P6 5 bhp Single Cylinder
The Stuart Turner P5 and P6 were designed with simplicity in mind and powered many day and sail boats with versions ranging from hand start to starter motor and dynastart options.
 P55 and P66 10 bhp Two Cylinder
The largest 2-stroke Stuart Turner marine engine made in volumes, with many similar features to the single cylinder version which powered larger motor and sailboats and many were used by commercial customers for fishing and other applications.
